Finish your new Ascent fireplace with the included safety barrier to protect your home from fire hazards.

The Ascent creates beautiful, natural-looking flames and comes with a rustic, hand-painted Phazer gas log set for the most realistic burning display possible. You can also add the optional Shore Fire Kit, Beach Fire Kit, or Mineral Rock Kit for a beachy, organic media bed.

Beyond its appealing aesthetics, the Napoleon Ascent 42 Direct Vent Gas Fireplace effortlessly warms your home with up to 22,000 BTUs of heat. An optional blower helps distribute warmth evenly around your space, as does a Hot Air Distribution Kit. For even more flexible installation, an optional Power Vent Kit is available, which allows you to vent above or below your fireplace.

Ignite your Ascent with a convenient millivolt ignition system or upgrade to an electronic ignition for convenient, user-friendly operation. With the electronic ignition system, you’ll be able to choose from three control options, including an on/off remote, an on/off remote with thermostat, and a wall-mounted thermostat.
